Evelyn -- 1 Month

This month has flown by, although it hasn't felt that way at 4am.

Evelyn is growing quickly! 11 pounds 6 ounces at her 1 month appointment. She is about 2 weeks ahead of Ella -- Evie weighed at 2 weeks what Ella weighed at 1 month; V now weighs what E weighed at 6 weeks.

She is eating every 3 or 4 hours and then wakes up once at night. Big sister likes to hold and tickle Evie, so far V tolerates it well.

Here are a few of the pics I took:

Christmas Cheer

I, much like the rest of the world, love Christmas. As we continue to share the magic of the season with our girls, and Ella just starting to grasp it, I find I love it even more!

A few of our holiday adventures have included my now 2nd annual cookie exchange. I love this fun time with friends - and obviously - the cookies!

We got the girls in their Christmas jammies and went driving around our neighborhood to look at lights. Ella loved telling us what colors she was seeing. Now she asks for "snowman" every time we are in the car.

Some of my favorite houses:

We went to Kraynaks, a family tradition for Josh's family while he was growing up. I'd never been before and was impressed with the sheer mass of Christmas decorations they had assembled!

The girls met Santa. Ella was not a fan! She wouldn't even take the candy he offered her. This was Evie's 1 month birthday.

Christmas movie and popcorn.

This girl can put away popcorn!

Christmas Manicures:

She kept saying "Nails like Mommy?"

Showing off her nails...on her sisters face!

We visited a new (to us) local "treasure" - Baldinger. It has candy from all over the world. Ella picked out some flavored tootsie rolls as her treat.

2014 in 1,000 words or less

We are truly blessed by our Lord and His faithfulness to us is undeserved. Here is a glimps at our year.

Highlights:
- Meeting our sweet Evelyn Grace.
- Our family vacation to Bethany Beach, MD.
- An adventure in beginning to homeschool Ella as she learned her colors and shapes.
- Josh updated the deck on the front of the house; the finished project - composite - looks great!
- Watching Ella explore the animals at a local "Wild Animal Park". We got season passes and I loved my time with her.
- A visit to NH for my 10 yr high school reunion
- I was able to quit working and stay home full time with the girls!

Favorite photos:

This one makes me laugh. Ella just loves holding her sister.

My two sweet angels:

Not too many things in life top a moment like this: (Evelyn Grace at 8lbs 14 oz and 20 inches).

Ella the lion tamer; she loves everything lion!

Ella loves to be outside.

Ella in her bounce house; awesome yardsale find!

Maternity Pics

I love these photos, but somehow they seem empty without my sweet Evelyn in them. She has changed our heart and lives so much for the best!

Evelyn:

I'll keep this lace belt for Evie's wedding. She wore it in her newborn pics.

We had Agee wedding photos taken with an umbrella, again in our newborn pics for Ella and again with Evie. You can see Ella's legs in the final pic.
