Canfield Fair

The Canfield Fair is a family tradition for the Gillespie clan. I started going with Josh our Junior year in college - and I haven't missed a year since! It was so fun to share the fair with our sweet baby girl.

She was mildly interested in the animals and would giggle any time they made noise of any type. Overall, she was such a trooper! She went in her backpack carrier for the first time ever (thanks Josh for carrying her for 6 hours!).

New Trick

Nine months

I know I'm late, but here are a few shots from Ella's 9 month pictures with her chalk board.

They are a little different this time because they are taken in our new home! :) 🏡💕

Ella's new (precious) thing is reaching forward for you, and holding her hand there until you kiss it! 

Watch Bunny

The house comes fully loaded with this little guy. We aren't quite sure where he came from but he sits in the front yard all day long.

Some bunny things he owes the place. 

We have affectionately named him "Captain". For non StarTrek lovers, we thought Captain Kirkwood was pretty humorous.

End of Summer Yumminess

My family loves s'mores, and as part of my wife duties, I've helped foster that love in Josh. To "celebrate" the end of summer we had these awesome s'more bars tonight!

Living room and dining room

After freshening up Ella's room, the next priority was the living and dinning rooms, formally a shocking color of yellow. 

We painted the baseboards white, the walls "teepee brown" by Behr and replaced the old gold light covers for white! 

And the (much) improved room: (I do realize the walls look different in every pictures, you will just have to come and see it!)
